Heated Perfusion Microscope Stages for 35mm Petri Dishes, TC-PCP
Includes a heater for petri dishes with 15/11mm optical clearance. Includes
adapters for common brand dishes, including glass bottom dishes.
Includes plastic insert with self-adhesives to facilitate perfusion inside the dish. The insert minimizes the
working volume and facilitates solution exchange inside the dish (inside
diameter of working volume 11mm). The insert also has separate compartments for
inflow and outflow of solution. This prevents bubbles from entering working
compartment. Comes with three adjustable magnetic holders for suction tubing (included), temperature
probe, and to fix inflow tubing inside the dish. The holders allow to position
the perfusion accessories and temperature probe anywhere around your sample. The
heater incorporates inflow preheater, to preheat the solution before it enters
the chamber. Inline Teflon heated tubing is easy to wash. Teflon tubing fits an optional perfusion manifold, which comes
with perfusion systems. Requires a microscope
adapter. Consider adding an
outflow unit for suction to remove solution from
the dish during perfusion. Requires a temperature controller.

Note: This heater is well suited for glass bottom dishes for use with any optics.
However, some plastic Petri dishes have a protruding rim on the bottom, which elevates the dish above the surface.
The included metal shims and thermal compound are used to eliminate this gap. This allows you to use the heater with regular plastic
Petri dishes as well.
Due to the elevated positioning of the dish, the effective optical clearance might be decreased if used with Plastic dish
and oil immersion optics. In this case, 35mm clearance heater is recommended.
